He is a Scientist at TCS Research, Tata Consultancy Services, working in the areas of robotics, automation and control. He received a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2020 in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Human-Robot Collaboration. He previously received B.Tech. and M.Tech. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Bombay with a focus on automation and control. His research interests span the full spectrum of robotics and automation - including mobile manipulation, grasping, reinforcement learning and applied machine learning, exoskeletons, and space robotics.
She is a Senior Scientist with TCS Research. Earlier she earned her Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK) where she developed various machine learning based algorithms to understand human emotions. Her works are published in peer reviewed journals such as Pattern Recognition, IEEE Transaction on Cybernetics and different peer reviewed conferences. Her research covers a vast area of computer vision, including Continual Learning, Open-Set Recognition, egomotion/depth estimation using monocular image. The works have been published in various peer reviewed conferences such as ICRA, IROS, ECCV, IJCAI, IJCNN. Currently, she is working towards development of “persona” in robot for effective human robot collaboration both in social as well as care robot.
He is a scientist with TCS Research. He received his Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), where he developed different imitation learning such as Dynamic Movement Primitives, GMR based Stable Movement Primitives. He also developed data driven controllers using reinforcement learning for commercial robotic manipulators. The works are published in peer reviewed journals such as, IEEE Transaction on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, IEEE SMC : Systems and in peer reviewed conferences. His research focus includes Robotic Manipulation, Reinforcement Learning, Small Vision Language Models for Robots, Novel Object Grasping and Scene Understanding. Currently, he is working towards creating a framework that generalizes human-robot collaboration. His works have been published in top tier conferences.
